The New Teacher Mentoring Project (NTMP) is accepting applications!

Attention all B.C. Teachers! The New Teacher Mentoring Project (NTMP) is pleased to announce we are now accepting registrations for our third summer institute on mentorship, Leading Together: Sustaining Mentorship, Strengthening Teaching, being held July 4‒6, 2016, at the AMS Student Nest (formerly the Student Union Building) on the UBC Vancouver campus. Please see the attached information flyer. Are you glad to learn about this? Join the B.C. Early Career Teachers’ Association in order to get timely emails about these kinds of opportunities!
Conference fees, accommodation, breakfasts and lunches, and parking at UBC will be covered by the NTMP for up to two participants from each school district/local. Travel costs to and from UBC need to be covered by district, local, or personal professional development funds. We invite you to forward this email to up to two current or emerging mentor leaders within your district or local who are committed to ongoing leadership and development of mentorship programs and practices.
Registration is limited to 45 persons and the deadline is Friday, May 20, 2015. Individuals may register for the institute and request accommodation at the Walter Gage Residence on campus by completing the online form here.
An agenda and more details will follow in late June. For further information, please do not hesitate to contact Alison Davies:
